SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Auburn University and the entire state of Alabama lost a legend today.
Hall of Fame football coach Pat Dye passed away Monday at the age of 80.
Dye was hospitalized over the last few weeks for kidney functions. He also tested positive for Covid-19.
Dye coached Auburn football from 1981-92
We wouldn’t be the Auburn we all enjoy and love today without Coach Pat Dye.
His impact on the community, athletics and countless individuals are immeasurable.
