GOODWATER, Ala. – A three-vehicle crash on Wednesday claimed the life of an Ashland man.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Dennis Parker, 64, was killed when the 2013 Chevrolet Cruze he was driving collided with a 2014 Dodge Ram on Alabama Hwy. 9.
Parker was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Dodge Ram was identified as Baxter Brown of Goodwater.
The third vehicle, a 1992 Lexus ES300 driven by Jather Whetstone of Goodwater, struck debris from the initial crash. The crash occurred at the 173.8 mile marker, eight miles south of Ashland near Millerville.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
