SYLACAUGA, Ala. – On Tuesday, the Sylacauga Police Department announced an arrest was made in connection to a Nov. 30, 2016 arson.
27-year 0ld Roderick Jackson was arrested and charged with first degree arson. His bond was set at $15,000. The warrant was issued Tuesday from district attorney’s office.
Chief Kelley Johnson told SylacaugaNews.com Jackson was arrested while in the Talladega County Jail on a previous charge of probation violation.
The fire, which damaged a mobile home in the Mars Trailer Park, do not injure anyone.
Jackson faces a minimum of 10 years to life or not more than 99 years in prison.
