Armored Seed Consignment and Gifts holds grand-opening ribbon cutting ceremony

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga’s newest consignment and gift shop, Armored Seed, hosted its ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday.

Armored Seed offers an array of name brand items at an affordable price.

Owners Candace Caine and Aaron Davis came up with the name Armored Seed by combining their favorite Bible verses.

“My fiance and I both have an interest in helping the community,” said Caine. “Our goal is to be able to offer nice clothes to people who may not be able to go out and afford to buy the more expensive brands.”

Caine and Davis have eight children, and all of them play a part in the business.

Armored Seed is open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is located at 238 N. W. Fort Williams St. beside the old Fred’s building.
