SYLACAUGA, Ala. — Sylacauga senior CJ Franklin has been named this week’s Allen Brew Market Athlete of the Week after another standout stretch leading the Aggies on both ends of the floor.
Franklin, a returning starter from last season’s Final Four run, has been one of the most consistent two-way players in the county. He’s averaging 14 points per game, shooting an impressive 50% from the floor, and is among the area’s most disruptive defenders with 3.5 steals per game.
Whether he’s attacking the rim, creating transition offense, or locking up opposing guards, Franklin continues to set the tone for a Sylacauga team with high expectations once again. His leadership, efficiency, and defensive edge make him a true difference-maker every night.
