MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Gov. Kay Ivey signed the REACH Act into law during a signing ceremony this week in Montgomery, expanding educational opportunities for those who truly need it.
The REACH Act is designed to allow high school students who have withdrawn to return and earn their diploma from their original school.
Under the new law, a student that is at least 18 years of age can participate in the High School Diploma Options program through the Adult Education departments at all Alabama Community Colleges, including local Central Alabama Community College.
