MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Alabama Department of Public Health reports nearly 1,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Alabama. including 13 deaths.
ADPH reports that Talladega Co. has six cases of the virus confirmed and no deaths.
260 of the state’s cases come from Jefferson Co. Five of the states death come from the eastern part of the state – three of the deaths are allocated to Chambers Co. and two for Lee Co.
ADPH should update its statistics later today. Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga should also have an update today.
