SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga High School athlete Lew Dale is this weeks ‘Star Player of the Game” presented by Star Physical Therapy.
The senior plays an array of positions for the 4-0 Aggies including running back and receiver, and you could argue he should have been awarded this honor in past weeks.
In Sylacauga’s close 21-14 region win over Moody last Friday night, Dale led off scoring for Sylacauga with a 10 yard touchdown. Dale may have been able to add a receiving touchdown to his stats, but he was overthrown while running wide open down the left hash-mark.
Overall on the season Dale has rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns.
Dale is also the single season rushing leader at Coosa Valley Academy after rushing for nearly 1,200 yards last year during his junior campaign.
