SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga High School running back Jordan Ridgeway is making back-to-back appearances as the ‘Star Player of the Game’ Presented by Star Physical Therapy.
The Aggies (3-0) dominated Springville in Legion Stadium Friday night. SHS was forced to punt after it received the opening kickoff of the game. Shortly after that punt, the game quickly became the “Jordan Ridgeway Show.”
The junior running back found the end-zone six times Friday night, and ripped off multiple 50-plus yard touchdown runs.
On the ground, Ridgeway carried the ball 17 times for 218 yards (12.8 YPC) and five touchdowns. The bruising back also had one reception for 10 yards and another score.
Amazingly, Ridgeway scored a touchdown every third time he touched the ball Friday night.

Before Friday nights game, Ridgeway told Aggie Sports Network sideline reporter Colton Richardson he was aiming for five touchdowns on the night, which he achieved before halftime. Ridgeway tacked on his sixth score midway through the third quarter before coaches pulled many of the starters.
The Aggies will be on the road this Friday at Moody High School. You can listen to the game on Yea!106.5 and the Yea!106.5 website. You can view a live stream of the game on AggieSportsNetwork.net.
