SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga running back Jordan Ridgeway is this week’s Star Player of the Game Presented by Star Physical Therapy.
In the Aggies’ 20-13 win on the road at Chilton County High School Ridgeway was nearly unstoppable.
In a game that saw a 2-hour 17-munite rain delay, the junior carried the team while rushing for 142 yards on 17 carries for an 8.35 yards per-carry average.
Ridgeway also caught one pass for eight yards.
Although Ridgeway did not score a touchdown, many of his carries extended drives, keeping the Chilton County defense on the field and giving the SHS defense time to rest on the sideline which enabled the Aggies to get a key stop late in the fourth quarter to seal the game.
