Adjacent events in Sylacauga returned to the same traditional day this past weekend

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – A pair of traditional events at adjacent locations – Kiwanis Pancake Day and the Comer Museum Car and Bike Show – returned to the same day this past weekend. For over a decade, the two fundraising events were held on the same day. For the past couple of years, however, that wasn’t possible.

The annual Kiwanis Pancake Day raises funds for the Sylacauga Kiwanis Club for various youth-related projects throughout the year, and the Car Show raises funds to operate the Comer Museum and Arts Center. Holding them both at and near Sylacauga High School at the same time helps the events gather crowds in support of their causes.
