MUNFORD, Ala. – A school bus traveling north on Hwy. 21 struck a car leaving the driver of the vehicle dead Monday morning.
ALEA troopers responded to the wreck near Pilgrim Rd. in Munford. A passenger car traveling south on Hwy. 21 was in the process of passing approximately five vehicles when it struck a Talladega Co. school bus.
The driver of the car was killed.
There were 22 people on the bus, including the driver. All were transported to local hospitals for minor injuries.
ALEA is still investigating.
