ABC 33/40 anchor Brenda Ladun to speak at Coosa Pines Federal Credit Union’s 75th annual meeting

CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – Coosa Pines Federal Credit Union has announced that Ms. Brenda Ladun, anchor of the 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. news on ABC 33/40, will be the guest speaker at the credit union’s 75th Annual Meeting of the Membership.

Coosa Pines has invited all members to attend the Tuesday, April 15 meeting at the R.S. Limbaugh Community Center in Childersburg at 6:30 p.m.

Ms. Ladun has worked in Birmingham television for three decades and is a five-time winner of the Alabama Associated Press awards for Best Investigative Reporter and Best Specialized Reporter. Most recently, Brenda won the Associated Press Award for Best Anchor and an Edward R. Murrow Award for a cancer special.

Ms. Ladun has also received several community awards for her work with the underprivileged. She is an author and speaker, collaborating with the Grace House Christian Home for Girls, the American Cancer Society, and other community organizations. Her dedication to serving others mirrors that of Coosa Pines Federal Credit Union.

Coosa Pines FCU is celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2025 and has exciting events planned for its 25,000 members.
