SYLACAUGA, Ala. – RadioAlabama’s sixth annual Stuff the Studio Food and Toy drive is back.
The spirit of the giving season is here. Through Dec. 15, you can donate non-perishable food items or new toys to the RadioAlabama studio in downtown Sylacauga, 99 N. Norton Ave. weekdays between 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. (behind the Sylacauga Board of Education, near Walgreens)
The charitable donations benefit the Sylacauga Alliance for Family Enhancement (SAFE) and the Alabama Childhood Food Solutions (ACFS). The donations will be on display when looking through the front window of the studio. Cash donations to either ACFS or SAFE are also acceptable.
Once known as the “Stuff the Bus” campaign, the centralized location for donations was changed to the studio due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the past five years, the community’s gifts have benefited thousands of families.
“We’re so grateful to the community for all the donations they’ve provided during this campaign the past few years,” said RadioAlabama Executive Vice President Michael Brannon. “It’s our hope that this year’s edition will be just as impressive as last year. Moving the location to the studio last year presented an unknown going forward, but it did not interfere with the success of the drive. We look forward to doing it again this year.”
The sixth annual award-winning Stuff the Studio Food and Toy Drive is presented by RadioAlabama’s MIX 106.5, KiX 100.3, and SylacaugaNews.com and is sponsored by First Bank of Alabama, Pursell, Allen Brew Market, AltaPointe Health, Chick-fil-A, Ponder Plumbing, Heritage South Credit Union, and Affordable Heating & Air, LLC.
