SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The 56th Sylacauga City Schools chair was awarded to Well Fargo on Tuesday.
Many gathered for the event where Wells Fargo was presented the chair and a plaque presented in the foyer of Sylacauga High School.
Amanda Thomas, branch manager of Sylacauga’s Wells Fargo said she has personally seen the affect the foundation has on the children in the community.
“Well Fargo is a proud supporter of the foundation, because we focus on improving the education for the Sylacauga children,” Thomas explained. Thomas is also on the Sylacauga City Schools Foundation board of directors. “I have witnessed first hand the impact of the foundation makes on the schools like Pinecrest Elementary School where my daughter is a third grade student.”
Thomas was also joined by District Manager Katrina Mason and Credit Analysis Supervisor Ben Cleveland.
To receive a chair, $25,000 must be invested in the foundation.
