43 new members inducted into National Junior Honor Society at NLMS

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – A formal ceremony was held at Nichols-Lawson Middle School (NLMS) as 43 new National Junior Honor Society members were made official Wednesday morning, March 30.

The new members join the 25 already in the honors organization, bringing the impressive total to 68.

The following eighth graders were inducted into the society:

Allison Odom

The induction ceremony included the lighting of five candles which represent the five attributes of the National Junior Honor Society: scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship, and character.

The new inductees join current members Kaylee Beatty, Hailey Cannon, Kailyn Cannon, Jackson Carter, Mia Rose Dennis, Maggie Belle Forbus, Highland Guinn, Marcellous Hall, Georgia Hamlet, Brookelyn Harris, Kacey House, Casey Malone, Emily McClellan, Zachary Nelson, Madelyn Pope, Madelyne Reeves, Sadie Reeves, Carleigh Rivers, Rowan Scripps, Anderson Shaw, Jordyn Thomas, Cayleigh Vick, Maggie Watkins, Tessa Watts, and Sage Wytch.
