SYLACAUGA, Ala. – CVMC has continued to test patients who have active symptoms relative to COVID-19 and remain prepared to provide care to any patient testing positively.
As of Tuesday afternoon, 103 COVID-19 tests have been completed at CVMC. One patient is currently hospitalized with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis. 11 patients have tested positive for COVID-19.

CVMC continues to care for patients while strictly adhering to CDC guidelines for those patients who are being tested and/or treated for COVID-19,” the hospital said in a release.
CVMC has implemented deep cleaning protocols in all patient care areas. CVMC team members are actively following meticulous infection control practices including the use of personal protective equipment when necessary.
