SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga Linebacker Chase Ivey is this weeks ‘Star Player of the Game” presented by Star Physical Therapy
Statistically Ivey was the most dominant player on the Sylacauga defense, and maybe the entire field, in the Aggies’ defensive battle with Mortimer Jordan last Friday night that ended in a 12-7 loss.
The junior inside-linebacker posted 15 total tackles against the Blue Devils – nine solo and six assisted – along with three tackles for loss.
Ivey will lead his defense once again Friday night as the Aggies (4-1) go on the road to face rival Childersburg (3-2).
