A new winter family entertainment is coming to Sylacauga as the City prepares to open a community ice skating rink in Central Park on November 30, 2025. The rink will debut during Christmas in the Park and the Sylacauga Christmas Tree Lighting, offering free skating from 3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on opening night. It will remain open through January 4, 2026, although admission for all weekday and Saturday sessions will be $10 per skater, which includes skate rental, though personal ice skates are permitted. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults are not required to skate but must sign the waiver on behalf of the child.
