Vaccination rate across Alabama still low; only 22,906 Talladega County residents fully vaccinated

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Have you received your COVID-19 vaccine?

According to the Alabama Department of Public’s Health COVID-19 vaccine distribution dashboard, there has been 4,963,215 doses distributed to the state of Alabama.

The state of Alabama has administered 3,516,814 vaccinations.

Talladega County has administered 50,108 vaccines.

Only 22,906 residents in Talladega County are fully vaccinated.

While residents across the state of Alabama continue to make strides against the COVID-19 pandemic, vaccination numbers are low compared to other states across the United States.

Governor Ivey’s message remains simple. If you are able, roll up your sleeve and get the vaccine.
