Almost a year later, we are finally seeing a small dip in COVID-19 cases.According to the Alabama Department of Public Health’s COVID-19 risk indicator, there is a low amount of COVID-19 activity in Talladega County placing it in the ‘green’ category.Talladega County is currently reporting 7,160 positive COVID-19 cases. Talladega County has reported a total of 133 deaths due to COVID-19.The state of Alabama alone is currently reporting 473,348 positive COVID-19 cases. Alabama has recorded 8,523 deaths due to COVID-19.There are currently 43,005 total hospitalizations across the state.Alabama is under a mask ordinance until March 5 to help slow the spread of the virus.Remember to wash your hands, properly wear a mask in public, keep your hands away from your face, and continue to practice six-feet social distancing.For more information on COVID-19 numbers, click here.
