SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga Police Department vehicles and Sylacauga Fire Department apparatus are clean and disinfected courtesy of SERVPRO.
SERVPRO is a franchisor of fire and water cleanup and restoration offering an array of services. The franchise system provides localized services as well as large scale disaster recovery.
On Thursday, SERVPRO of Talladega Clay and Randlph Counties, at no charge, deep cleaned SPD vehicles and SFD apparatus in an effort to keep first responders safe during the pandemic.
“We want to keep these guys safe because they keep us safe,” said Wayne Willard. Willard is the area representative for SERVPRO. “We don’t need them to be sick in quarantine, so we want them to be out safely doing their job. This is our part in keeping them safe.”
SERVPRO has also been very generous to other area departments in the same way – cleaning at no charge.

“I want to thank SERVPRO for what they did here today,” said SPD Chief Kelley Johnson. “Our officers faced with unique situations every day, and they never know what they are going to be faced with.”
