SHARE NOW

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Coosa Valley Medical Center has updated its COVID-19 numbers.

“We are seeing an increase in volume on the inpatient side,” said Chief Nursing Officer, Amy Price. “Our COVID unit on the 3rd floor is staying busy, as well as our ICU. Both departments have been continuously at or near capacity over the last few weeks.”

According to Price, CVMC is prepared to receive COVID-19 vaccines over the next few weeks. The ADPH has developed a plan to ensure equitable and timely distribution of the vaccine. Through the plan, CVMC has allocated initial doses of the vaccine that will be made available to frontline staff.
