Allen Brew Market donates nearly $5,000 to local schools through spirit pumps

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Did you know that you could pump money into local schools, while pumping gas at Allen Food Mart on Old Birmingham Hwy. in Sylacauga?

In September 2019, Allen Brew Market launched its Spirt Pump program, donating a portion of the final sale price from specific pumps into supporting organizations at your local schools.

School specific pumps sit back-to-back for the B.B. Comer Tigers and the Sylacauga Aggies at the Allen Oil Company headquarters.

Each month a different supporting organization from each school will be the recipient of a Spirit Pump donation.

According to Owner Tim Allen, B.B. Comer raised nearly $3,000 in 2020, with Sylacauga High School raising nearly $2,000.

Could we see the Marble City Classic at the gas pump?

Allen challenges each school to see who can raise the most money for their supporting organizations.
