ALDOT announces no temporary lane closures during Thanksgiving holidays

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - To ease Thanksgiving traffic congestion statewide and as an added safety precaution, the Alabama Department of Transportation is announcing there will be no temporary lane closures on Alabama interstates from noon, Wednesday, Nov. 22, through midnight, Sunday, Nov. 26.

Governor Ivey Announces $33 Million for Restoration and Conservation Projects in Alabama

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Governor Kay Ivey on Tuesday announced the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) has approved more than $33.5 million for five new projects and amendments to two existing projects which focus on the restoration and conservation of Alabama’s natural resources.
