SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Blue Bell Creameries will host the Tenth Annual Trunk-or-Treat at Central Park on Thursday, October 27.
The event will take place between 6:30 and 8:00 p.m. Organizers say it is a great opportunity for families to come out and collect Halloween candy from local businesses and groups. Children 12 and under are encouraged to wear their halloween costumes and receive a variety of goodies.
Trunk-or-Treat is also known for the elaborate decoration of participating groups car trunks to ignite the Halloween spirit in each child present.
“This the tenth year that this event has been going on,” said Mindy Grier, coordinator of the event. “We hope to start a little early with our new set up. We also have more police and volunteers. It’s going to be much safer this year.”
To participate as a host, donate items for goody bags, or donate bags of candy contact Mindy Grier by calling 256-249-6100 or emailing [email protected].
