Talladega crash claims life of Pell City man

TALLADEGA, Ala. – A two-vehicle crash has claimed the life of a Pell City man.

According to State Troopers, 53-year-old James Walter Green was killed when the 1998 Kawasaki motorcycle he was operating struck a 2003 Mercury Marquis driven by 39-year-old Christopher Lynn Hallmark of Talladega.

Green was pronounced dead at the scene, but Hallmark was not injured.

The crash occurred on Hwy.‌ 34, 10 miles west of Talladega at 4:50 p.m. Saturday.

Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
