Sylacauga’s Magnolia Chapter #59 donates books to G & J Kids Care students

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Magnolia Chapter #59 of the Order of the Eastern Star is helping promote early childhood literacy through a recent book donation to local children.

On Monday, Aug. 24, Magnolia Chapter #59 presented books to students at G & J Kids Care in Sylacauga, giving each child a book to take home and enjoy. The donation was aimed at encouraging reading and supporting learning opportunities for young children outside the classroom.

G & J Kids Care is a state-licensed, home-based group child care provider serving children from birth through age 12. The facility operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and provides breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack.

Magnolia Chapter #59 is led by Worthy Matron Mary Williams and Worthy Patron Christopher Robinson.
