ALEXANDER CITY, Ala. – A man wanted in connection with a homicide in Alexander City is believed to have last been in the Sylacauga area, according to law enforcement officials.
The Alexander City Police Department announced it is searching for 26-year old Laderrion Rodrigas Benjamin, also known as “Benji,” on a murder charge stemming from a homicide that occurred on Monday, Aug. 24 in Alexander City.
Investigators said a murder warrant has been obtained for Benjamin, and officers are actively working to locate him. Authorities identified Talladega County, specifically the Sylacauga area, as his last known location.
Police have not released additional details about the homicide or the circumstances surrounding the investigation.
Benjamin was born June 7, 2000, according to information provided by police.
