SYLACAUGA, Ala. – RadioAlabama begins the 2026-2027 school year as the exclusive broadcast partner for Sylacauga High School, Childersburg High School, B.B. Comer Memorial High School, and Fayetteville High School, continuing a commitment that extends well beyond Friday night football.

These partnerships were mutually developed with each school and are similar to agreements RadioAlabama maintains with schools outside the South Talladega County area.

During the 2025-2026 school year, RadioAlabama stations broadcast more than 250 combined games for Sylacauga, Childersburg, B.B. Comer, and Fayetteville across multiple sports from August to May following student-athletes throughout the year. Exclusivity for these new agreements applies particularly to the live broadcast/re-broadcast of games. Media outlets may still cover the schools, report on games, conduct interviews, and use highlights in accordance with school and applicable media policies. RadioAlabama’s commitment is to the entire school and its student-athletes, not simply one sport or one season. These schools have chosen RadioAlabama as their exclusive broadcast partner, and the organization takes seriously the responsibility that comes with those relationships.

As part of these partnerships, RadioAlabama is committed to empowering student athletics by providing each school with a full-scale athletic website. Each platform provides a centralized home for the school’s athletic programs, including scores, schedules, stories, broadcasts, team information, and more staffed by RadioAlabama personnel in partnership with students at the schools. Dedicated mobile apps are also available for iOS and Android, giving students, parents, alumni, and fans another direct connection to their schools – all at no cost to the school.

RadioAlabama is also creating opportunities for students themselves to participate in sports coverage. Students are being trained and paid to assist with broadcasts, cameras, and other production responsibilities, providing hands-on experience while helping tell the stories of their schools and fellow student-athletes.

Most importantly, live and on-demand game broadcasts are free to watch on its platforms with no cable, paid subscription, or account required. Fans can watch and listen to coverage through live video streaming on televisions and connected devices, traditional radio, online streaming, the RadioAlabama app, official school apps and websites, and on-demand broadcasts.

Coverage is also available through each school’s dedicated sports website:
