AUBURN, Ala. – The Sylacauga High School Devilettes returned home with a long list of awards after attending the Universal Dance Association camp at Auburn University during the week of June 22.
The team earned the Team Superior Trophy and the Team 110% Award while collecting 22 Blue Ribbons, two Red Ribbons, 30 Gold Drill Down Ribbons, and the Super Spirit Stick on the camp’s fourth day.
Eight Devilettes were selected as All-Americans: JC Hall, Catie-Beth Henderson, Ella Holmes, Anna Theilacker, Caroline Smith, Kata Wilson, Jaley Bryant, and Anna Claire Darby.
The annual UDA camp brings together dance teams from across the region for instruction, evaluations, and team-building activities, giving participants the opportunity to sharpen their skills while competing for individual and team honors. Sylacauga’s performance throughout the week placed the Devilettes among the camp’s top-performing squads.
