Talladega County Sheriff’s Office seeking public’s help locating stolen Nissan pickup truck

TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. – The Talladega County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a stolen 1996 Nissan pickup truck taken during the early morning hours of Thursday, May 21.

According to the sheriff’s office, the maroon-colored pickup was stolen from a location near the Coosa County line along Hwy 21 South. Authorities said the vehicle has several distinguishing features, including white-letter tires on the front and black wall tires on the rear.

Investigators also noted the truck has damage to the passenger-side front fender. The vehicle’s tag number is 61AB34T.

The sheriff’s office urged residents to be on the lookout for the vehicle but warned the public not to approach it if spotted.

Anyone who sees the pickup is asked to call 911 immediately and report its location.
