Ohatchee man dies following a Sunday motorcycle crash in Coosa County

COOSA COUNTY, Ala. – A 56-year-old Ohatchee man has died following a motorcycle crash in Coosa County on Sunday, April 26.

David P. Sharp was riding his motorcycle around 9:40 a.m. on U.S. Route 231 when his bike left the road and struck a tree near the 191-mile marker.

Sharp was taken to Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
