WEOGUFKA, Ala. – The Weogufka Center will host its annual Mule Day festival on Saturday, April 25, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The event, located at 145 Memorial Loop, will feature mules, live music, arts and crafts vendors, demonstrations, and a variety of food, including the festival’s traditional fried apple pies. Preparations are already underway for the last-Saturday-in-April gathering, which is designed as a family-friendly community event.
Activities will also include a cake auction, a 50/50 drawing, a “money tree,” and an antique car show with a $20 entry fee. Attendees are encouraged to bring camp chairs to relax at the outdoor amphitheater while enjoying music throughout the day.
Organizers said the festival will offer vendors, local crafts, and entertainment, promising “fun for all” during the annual celebration.
