SYLACAUGA, Ala. – History buffs and casual trivia fans alike are invited to test their knowledge at a Founding Fathers Trivia Night hosted by Sylacauga Parks and Recreation on Tuesday, April 14.
The event, set for 6:00 p.m. at the J. Craig Smith Community Center, is part of the city’s celebration of America’s 250th anniversary. Organizers say the evening will feature a mix of questions spanning early American history, including the Founding Fathers, the Revolutionary War, and a variety of lesser-known facts with pop culture twists.
Teams of up to four players will compete in multiple rounds of trivia, followed by a halftime break and a final bonus round. The event is open to participants ages 18 and older, though spectators are also welcome to attend.
Retired Sylacauga High School history teacher Libby Renn will serve as moderator, guiding teams through the competition. On the Run Concessions will be on-site offering refreshments.
Participation is free, but advance registration is required. Only one member per team needs to sign up. Registration is available online at Sylacauga.Recdesk.com or by calling (256) 249-8561.
Prizes will be awarded to top-performing teams, though organizers emphasize the event’s focus on community engagement and friendly competition.
Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged.
