Talladega man killed in late-night crash near Munford

MUNFORD, Ala. – A Talladega man was killed in a single-vehicle crash late Wednesday night, March 11 in Talladega County, authorities said.

43-year old Justin R. Finch died after the 2014 Ford Flex he was driving left the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

The crash occurred at about 11:40 p.m. Wednesday on Alabama Hwy 21 near the 240 mile marker, roughly one mile south of Munford. Officials said Finch was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers with Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division are investigating the crash. No additional information was immediately available.
