SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Jobs for America’s Graduates will host a Spirit Night fundraiser on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at McDonald’s on W Fort Williams St. to support local students.
The event is scheduled from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with proceeds benefiting the school-based program that helps students graduate on time and prepare for life after high school.
Jobs for America’s Graduates, commonly known as JAG, focuses on guiding students toward academic success while building leadership, career readiness, and other essential life skills. Organizers said funds raised during the Spirit Night will help provide enhanced opportunities and experiences for future JAG students.
Community members are encouraged to attend and show support by purchasing meals during the designated hours. Supporters say the fundraiser offers a simple way for residents to invest in local youth and strengthen workforce readiness efforts in Sylacauga.
The program partners with schools to equip students with tools needed to transition successfully into college, careers, or the military.
