CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – The Greater Coosa Valley Chamber of Commerce officially announced a new name and refreshed brand identity during its Annual Chamber Banquet, unveiling its transition to the Childersburg Area Chamber of Commerce.

The rebrand is the culmination of a year-long process that included conversations with community stakeholders, Chamber members, local businesses, city officials, and the Chamber’s Board of Directors. The goal was to ensure the organization’s identity reflects both the progress made over the past several years and the future the community is building together.

“This wasn’t about changing who we are,” said Chamber leadership. “It was about refreshing how we tell our story and making sure our brand matches the role the Chamber plays today – and the responsibility we carry moving forward.”

The new name emphasizes both the Chamber’s deep roots in Childersburg and its broader role in connecting businesses, industries, and partners throughout the area. The updated logo was intentionally designed to reflect the Chamber’s mission and core values.

At the center of the logo is the Childersburg ‘C’ and Childersburg blue, representing the heritage, identity, and pride of the community. A bridge element symbolizes collaboration, connection, and inclusivity – reflecting the Chamber’s role in bringing people, businesses, and ideas together while serving as a trusted steward of resources. An arrow element represents innovation, excellence, and forward momentum, highlighting the Chamber’s commitment to progress and continuous improvement.

Together, the elements reflect the Chamber’s core values of Heritage, Collaboration, Innovation, Inclusivity, and Excellence.

Alongside the new brand, the Chamber also announced its new slogan: “Making Childersburg a place where people start, stay, and succeed.”

The slogan captures the Chamber’s long-term vision of fostering economic opportunity, supporting local businesses, strengthening workforce pathways, and ensuring Childersburg remains a community where individuals and families can build their future.

The rebrand will roll out across Chamber communications, programs, digital platforms, and events in the coming weeks. At the banquet, attendees received a commemorative Chamber pen and a QR code linking to the Chamber’s newly launched social media platforms, which went live the same evening. Their website is still being finalized.

The Childersburg Area Chamber of Commerce will continue serving as a central catalyst for economic prosperity, entrepreneurship, and community growth – honoring its past while intentionally preparing for the future.
