Sylacauga Parks and Recreation to host free Family Game Night on Friday, Feb. 27

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga Parks and Recreation will host its fourth annual Family Game Night on Friday, Feb. 27, offering two hours of free activities for families across the city and surrounding areas.

The event will run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the J. Craig Smith Community Center gym, with more than 20 game stations set up throughout the building.

Activities will include basketball, ping pong, bowling, vintage video games, corn hole, and other games. The evening will also feature bouncy houses, music, and additional entertainment for all ages.

A sensory-friendly area will be available for attendees with sensory sensitivities.

On the Run Concessions will be on site with a food truck selling refreshments. Central Alabama Community College’s Adult Learning Program will also attend and provide free items.

Families are encouraged to attend together, and children must be accompanied by an adult to participate.

The event is designed to give families a chance to bond, stay active, and connect with the community.
