TALLADEGA, Ala. – Talladega College will host a special concert featuring Grammy Award-winning Broadway legend Jennifer Holliday to celebrate the investiture of Dr. Willie L. Todd, Jr. as the college’s 22nd president.

The concert is set for Thursday, Feb. 19, at 7:00 p.m. in the Henry Swift DeForest Chapel on the Talladega College campus.

The college said the event will honor the significance of the presidential investiture while celebrating the college’s rich cultural and artistic legacy, including the launch of a philanthropic initiative to support President Todd’s vision to “Reimagine Liberal Arts for a new era.”

Todd aims to expand interdisciplinary learning, strengthen academic innovation, and elevate the student experience, with a key priority to expand scholarship support to ensure that talented students can access and thrive at Talladega College.
