Sylacauga City Council to hold special budget work session

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga City Council will hold a special budget work session for fiscal year 2026 at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

The meeting was called by City Council President Tiffany Nix and will take place in the mayor’s conference room on the second floor of City Hall.

Council members are expected to review the proposed fiscal year 2026 budget and determine final revisions during the work session, with anticipated adoption expected at the regularly-scheduled council meeting on Thursday, Jan. 22.

The meeting will be open to the public and held in accordance with Alabama’s Open Meetings Law and city ordinance requirements.
