SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga City Council will meet on Tuesday night, Dec. 16, following a work session which is set to start at 5:00 p.m.
These agenda items will be addressed:
1. Reaffirm prior approval declaring eight Canon copiers and one HP printer as surplus to requirements and authorizing their sale.
2. Declare outdated camera equipment from the Sylacauga Police Department as surplus to requirements and authorize destruction of said equipment.
3. Declare taser equipment from the Sylacauga Police Department as surplus to requirements and donate to Central Alabama Community College Law Enforcement Program.
4. Declare outdated public safety radio equipment and related radio tower as decommissioned and transfer to the Sylacauga Utilities Board for disposal.
5. Approve Fiscal Year 2025 Accounts Payable invoices, totaling $10,020.92.
6. Approve Fiscal Year 2026 Accounts Payable invoices, totaling $669,101.61.
