PRATTVILLE, Ala. – Alabama District 30 Sen. Clyde Chambliss visited Central Alabama Community College on Thursday, Nov. 6, to present a contribution supporting the college’s student and community initiatives, according to school officials.

Chambliss, a longtime advocate for education and workforce development, said the investment will help Central Alabama Community College expand opportunities that prepare students for high-demand careers and strengthen local communities.

“We appreciate Senator Chambliss and his continued support of Central Alabama Community College,” President Jeff Lynn said. “He has always been a strong voice for education and workforce training in our state. His partnership helps us continue providing students with the tools they need to succeed.”

Chambliss praised the college’s role in workforce training and its connection to business and industry needs across Alabama.

“CACC is doing what Alabama needs by preparing students for meaningful careers and meeting the needs of business and industry across our state,” said Sen. Chambliss. “The work taking place here is building a stronger workforce and a stronger future for Alabama.”

The contribution supports ongoing programs across Central Alabama Community College’s campuses in Alexander City, Childersburg, Prattville, and Talladega.
