TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. – Here’s last week’s results for B.B. Comer, Childersburg, Fayetteville, and Sylacauga on the gridiron:

B.B. COMER – The Tigers closed out the season on Thursday night by losing on the road to a very good Thorsby team, 55-6. Not the season that Coach Adam Fossett and his team or fans wanted, ending at 1-9 on the year.

SYLACAUGA – Coach Chris Smelley’s Aggies dropped another close game, 38-31, on Friday night. The Aggies end their year at 4-6. They will not make the playoffs.

CHILDERSBURG – Coach Matt Zedaker’s squad played hard all season, but the last game left them winless on the year losing to Winterboro, 32-8, on Friday night. The Tigers will now lace up the sneakers, pump up the basketballs, and get ready for hoops season.

FAYETTEVILLE – John Limbaugh’s Wolves will head into the playoffs riding a six-game winning streak by defeating the Brilliant Tigers, 41-0, on Friday night. They will go on the road to take on Berry this Friday night in the first round of the Class 1A playoffs.
