South Talladega County football recap for Oct. 24

TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. – Here’s last week’s results for B.B. Comer, Childersburg, Fayetteville, and Sylacauga on the gridiron:

SYLACAUGA – The Aggies fell to a very good Elmore County team on the road, 42-14, on Friday night. Chris Smelley’s team will close out the 2025 season this Friday as they host Glenwood.

FAYETTEVILLE – John Limbaugh’s Wolves made it five in a row by whipping Ellwood Christian, 49-0, and improving their record to 7-2. Before the playoffs next week, the Wolves will round out the regular season when they travel to Brilliant this Friday night.

B.B. COMER – Adam Fossett’s Tigers were no match for the Lee-Scott Warriors on Friday losing by a score of 36-8. B.B. Comer will travel to end their season by going to take on the Thorsby Rebels on Thursday night.

CHILDERSBURG – Matt Zedaker’s team’s woes continued on Friday night as they fell at home to the Dadeville Tigers, 33-10. Childersburg will celebrate Senior Night at home this Friday as they welcome in Winterboro.
