FAYETTEVILLE, Ala. – The Lay Lake Volunteer Fire Department’s Summer Fundraiser raffle is in full swing, giving community members a chance to win a variety of prizes while supporting local firefighters.
Tickets are $5 each, with bundle options of five for $20, 15 for $50, or 35 for $100. Proceeds will help the department purchase essential gear, fuel, and training supplies.
The raffle drawing is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 31. Participants do not need to be present to win.
Prizes include an Oak Grove Feed and Tack prize pack featuring a hat, drink koozies, a Fair Chase holster, everyday carry organizers, multi-tools, a plasma torch lighter, hand warmers, peanuts, and boxes of 12-gauge shotgun ammo.
Other prizes include a rustic solar lantern set suitable for porch, patio, or cabin décor. A full and continually updated prize list is available on the department’s Facebook page.
Tickets are available from any Lay Lake Volunteer Fire Department member – who can arrange purchases via CashApp – or at local locations including The Corner Tea, Big Daddy’s, and Lori Darlins.
