SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Board of Education held a special called meeting on Thursday, June 5 to select new officers for the upcoming new school year.
Dr. Rekha Chadalawada, a Board Member since 2016, was appointed as Board President.
Olwyn Twymon was named Board Vice President. Twymon was appointed to the Board of Education in December 2023.
The Board of Education officer positions rotate each new academic year.
