SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Coosa Valley Medical Center is inviting the community to a free health seminar, titled “Don’t Let the Grinch Steal Your Christmas,” on Monday, Dec. 2, at the B.B. Comer Memorial Library.
The event, part of the hospital’s Community Links series, will focus on the causes, signs, and prevention of seasonal illnesses such as influenza, pneumonia, COVID-19, and RSV. Jeff Wood, MSN, RN-BC, an infection preventionist, will lead the presentation.
Lunch will be served at 11:00 a.m., with the presentation beginning at 12:00 p.m.
Attendees will receive practical tips for protecting themselves and their families during the holiday season.
