ROCKFORD, Ala. – Coosa County authorities have re-arrested a 28-year old Montgomery man, Tramaine Dasean Grandison, was booked into the Coosa County Jail on Wednesday, Oct. 2.
Grandison is being held without bond on charges of Murder and Theft of Property with a value over $2,500 in connection with a May 1, 2024 incident that left 27-year old David Tyrell Benson hanging on to life with gunshot wounds in front of his Cottage Grove home in Coosa County.
Benson was transported to UAB Hospital in Birmingham where he ultimately succumbed to his wounds and was pronounced dead the next day.
Grandison was previously arrested on May 30 and charged with Murder and Theft of Property in the First Degree.
