CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – Takairee “T.K.” Kenebrew, a wide receiver from Childersburg, has been named to the Preseason Offensive All-United Athletic Conference (UAC) Team.
All nine of the league’s head coaches included Kenebrew on their ballots, making him a unanimous selection.
Kenebrew, who announced his return for a seventh season at the University of North Alabama (UNA) in January, holds the school’s all-time record for career touchdown receptions with 26. He tied the single-season touchdown record with 10 in 2023, notably with a touchdown catch against then No. 4 ranked Florida State.
He also owns the UNA school records at the D-1 level for most receiving yards per catch in a season (22.4) and most 100-yard receiving games in a season (3).
Kenebrew, a 6-foot-2, 190-pound graduate student, played multiple roles at Childersburg High School, earning all-county and all-state honors under head coach Jonathan Beverly. He set the school’s record for most receiving touchdowns in a season with 21 in 2017.
UNA, which began competing in the UAC in 2022, recently broke ground on its new sports complex, Bank Independent Stadium, slated for completion in 2026 or 2027.
